Log Homes - From a one-bedroom bungalow to a four to five bedroom two storey home, we are able to offer any required design.
Discussions will take place with the potential client with regard to the general floor-plan through to the elevation style and design and sizes of doors and windows. Timberville will supply and include all necessary insulation materials following heat-loss calculations based upon SAP Ratings. All structural calculations are provided, however, Timberville would require the client to engage a local architect to present planning applications and building regulations to the local authorities. Clients will be required to choose between a round log or laminated flat log appearance along with the level of timber finishing for example, floors, internal walls and ceilings throughout the building. All of our Log Homes can be supplied with an integrated sauna if required.
Mobile Homes - Timberville are pleased to promote, through the ‘Logwise’ brand the supply of Log Mobile Lodges, whose structures conform to the relevant British Standard. The ‘Logwise’ range of mobile buildings start with a single bedroom unit through to large three bedroom buildings most of which feature en-suite facilities and attractive decked terraces complete with balustrades. Existing models can usually be adapted to suit the client’s requirement. These buildings are on offer to the single ‘one-off’ client through to the holiday park developer. Price discounts are usually available for multi-purchase orders. These buildings are constructed on site which affords placement to awkward wooded areas where it would be difficult to position a normal 'static' caravan.. Constructed in round or flat log, these buildings are designed to enable ‘splitting’ into two should it be necessary for a change of location.
Holiday Lodges - These buildings are usually designed on a ‘bespoke’ basis for the one-off owner to a holiday park developer. Alternatively residential log homes are adapted to suit usage as a holiday lodge. These models require the same building regulations as residential log homes. The log lodge is proving to be particularly sought after in areas such as fishing lakes and other sporting areas such as golf courses.
Public Buildings - Due to the attractiveness of the log building, coupled with the ‘eco’ credentials and the thermal properties, more and more public buildings such as village halls, club houses, pre-schools, restaurants and hotels,, are being designed and constructed in log. We at Timberville are pleased to have been involved in a number of such projects.
